President Donald Trump continues to state that Canada should become the United States of America’s 51st state.
Some state, some hope!
Trump trying to push Canada into joining the U.S. has brought out a seldom-seen wave of patriotism across the land.
From sea to sea, this country whose citizens are not flag-wavers unless the Habs are in the playoffs, has caught the patriotic fervour and overwhelmingly spit on the notion of becoming a part of a country that has gone “ugly.”
This country is no longer the “United States”; it is a fractured conglomerate of people pushing their own agendas with little willingness to compromise.
And Trump has sucked the Great One into this mire by befriending him and encouraging him to run for Prime Minister – or Governor – we need Wayne to stand up for Canada and not his friend in high places.
The United States, once the beacon of democracy and justice in a world of bullies, now follows the path of might makes right. If you want to stay in the FBI you have to say Trump won in 2020.
The country is almost at civil-war status, which Canada should fear more than tariffs, with the rich and the power-hungry and crazies in charge across the once-great nation.
There is no crime that can’t be undone, no lie that can’t be told, and no scarcity of those who believe the lies of the man in charge.
Why would Canadians ever want to join a failing state like the United States?
If Sweden asked us to join, you’d give it a second look, but not this new, ugly America that still has the power to punish the world.
Trump lies! The fools believe him and he repeats the lies until they are fact to most of the populace. And those who would, and did, sell their souls for power repeat the lies and get the goons to punish the reasonable.

Hilary Clinton has a child ring in the basement of a pizza parlour.
Canada is propped up by $250 billion from the U.S. each year.
USAID sent $100 worth of condoms to Hamas.
Trump won the 2020 election.
Trump didn’t incite January 6th and no one did anything wrong, so pardon them.
Get rid of all those in justice who Trump can’t control.
The richest man in the world, Musk, works for “master” now and shuts down USAID, harming millions around the world. Russia and China are ready to pounce!
Maybe he could help the needy, but the most wealthy country should have the most to share with those who need the West’s wealth.
Yes, join the U.S. Imagine.
We have a mostly tolerant and just population, no gun culture, health care for all (in repair), no school shootings every second week, a country that makes caring for its citizens a top priority, a better educated youth than the U.S., and we don’t ask for payment to help another country fend off another madman.
Canadians wonder how a great people could elect a felon, a liar, a misogynist, a bully, and a man who will do anything to make himself the most feared in the room.
We can only hope that the great American ideals eventually prevail, the people turn their hearts and minds with a look to a brighter future and lose the fear of a man who will do anything to poison the well of justice in America.
The world needs a generous, loving America, and not the bully it has become under Trump.
Canada join the U.S.?
We could never do that to our First Nations and all the other nationalities that made Canada one of the world’s great nations.
We are Canadian!
