Owen Joseph O’Brien was born on January 5th, 2022, weighing in at a whopping 10 lb 14 oz and joins two big sisters who “are taking their new role very seriously” – the sisters have lovingly already given their new baby brother a nickname, “Chippy.”

The parents of the beautiful and healthy baby boy currently live in Judique as mom, Molly O’Brien, is originally from there. Dad, John O’Brien, is originally from Glencoe Station.
Auntie Kelly Ryan contacted The Oran about the wonderful new addition to their family and to the county and put us in touch with mom, Molly O’Brien.
She, her husband, and two daughters welcomed Owen Joseph on January 5th at 7:44 a.m.
In the photo are big sisters Macie (4) and Allie (2) holding baby brother Owen Joseph O’Brien.
The baby was born at St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish.
With three children under five, mom said that their “home is wild and their hearts are full.”
The county congratulates you and sends you our best wishes for 2022 – welcome to the world baby Owen; the world is a better place with you in it!
